					<description><![CDATA[<p>The BR-MOD-1-9-B is a satellite beacon receiver designed on a completely new platform to meet today’s system challenges. This robust product features many capabilities to provide rugged and reliable operation in embedded applications.</p>
<p>A CW satellite beacon carrier can be acquired quickly and tracked in On-the-Move, as well as in fixed-site applications. The receiver can lock on and track BPSK-type carrier signals and is uniquely capable of locking on and tracking DVB-like carriers utilizing an exclusive Avcom-only Carrier- Edge-Power-Tracking (CEPT) function. In addition, it provides a voltage output from 0 to 10 VDC proportional with the input signal.</p>
<p>A unique feature of this beacon receiver is that when the beacon receiver function is not in use it can be used as a full-function spectrum analyzer. This allows systems to track on a beacon and monitor a carrier without the need for a separate device.</p>
<p>The beacon receiver can be connected via ethernet, USB, or serial, and supports communication with a WEB-GUI, POSIX-C API, text-based API, and Avcom' s EVO GUI. This wide range of options makes the unit ideal for interfacing with large complex M&#38;C systems or simple microprocessor-based systems.</p>

The receiver will remain locked on the CW carrier signal and provide the DC output voltage relative to input RF level at the tuned center frequency. The LBR-2195A can also lock on and track BPSK type modulated carriers signals with excellent performance. Typical time-to-lock period is &#60;3 seconds. The LBR-2195A has been designed with the systems integrator in mind for satellite antenna and uplink power controller systems and as alternative replacement to the ASC350L. The small form-factor is ideal for low-profile and restricted spaces.</span></p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Mount Design for Remote Monitoring and Control</strong><br />
The RSA offers the integrator total flexibility in a 1RU chassis. Configuration option makes the RSA the spectrum analyzer of choice with many SATCOM facilities. The RSA can support up to 6 inputs. Up to 16 different RSA’s can be monitored simultaneously from three locations via IP using the AVCOM EVO GUI software. Other options include choice of input<br />
connectors, LNB power, preamps if trying to view very low-level signals, attenuators if viewing higher level signals, and down converters for viewing higher input frequencies. Whether you need a custom design or a simple design for your SATCOM needs, the RSA offers versatility at its best.</p>
<p><strong>Performance &#38; Specifications</strong><br />
The RSA is designed for the measurement and analysis of communications and broadcast carriers, making link, L-Band carriers, IF, and 10MHz reference signals easy to measure, monitor, and store. The RSA provides excellent uplink, downlink frequency and amplitude accuracy along with resolution bandwidth (RBW) selection from 10kHz to 1Mhz. This is required to allow viewing and monitoring of Telemetry, Tracking, Command Systems (TT&#38;C), data carriers found in many satellite systems, spread spectrum, and Wi-Fi as well. Variable reference levels (RL) from -10dB to -50dB make viewing of smaller to larger signals possible.</p>

<p>The SBS2-2150 input covers an extended L-Band frequency of 950MHz to 2150MHz and will also allow monitoring of a 10MHz reference signal. The single board design only requires an external input voltage, accepting a wide range of +15 to +24VDC @ 7W. Communication is provided via Ethernet or USB. The single board supports both commercial Ethernet and USB connectors or header connectors for easier embedded system integration. Along with resolution bandwidths of 1MHz to 10 kHz, a 3kHz RBW option is available for applications requiring very detailed signal analysis. SBS2-2150E allows changes to the number of data points used if application needs to optimize refresh rate verses resolution. The data point number can be adjusted from 1-4000 points in the control software.</p>

<p>The PSA can be monitored and controlled both locally from the front panel and remotely using the Avcom Remote Control Software via serial port or Ethernet. The Remote-Control Software has an intuitive user interface that is easy to use with no special training required. It allows remote monitoring and control from your network or over the internet. Features include screenshot capture recording, SNMP for alarm/monitoring, markers, cross-polling and Automated Data Acquisition (DAQ) with tolerance comparison and integrated email alerts, to name a few. Up to twelve windows can be displayed at one time. The GUI is capable of saving and recalling an unlimited number of screenshots and integrates with the PSA to upload or download saved waveforms from the analyzer’s internal user memory locations. <p>The color LCD display provides the user with an accurate and detailed picture of the spectrum being investigated, even when operating under challenging bright sunlight or other difficult lighting conditions. The field replaceable Li-Ion battery uses an internal charger and a multi segment battery status indicator is provided. The PSA-4200C comes equipped with 13V/18V/22kHz LNB power to directly power the satellite LNB, and programmable LO Offset selection provides no-math direct frequency readouts of low side or high side LNB’s. Up to ten user-defined presets allow for executing quick repetitive testing parameters. Screenshots may be saved on the PSA-4200C and can be recalled on-screen for comparing signal footprints or can be downloaded to a PC using AVCOM’s free software for documentation. <h4>Versatile Remote Control Software</h4>
<p>The PSA can be monitored and controlled both locally from the front panel and remotely using the Avcom Remote Control Software via serial port or Ethernet. The Remote-Control Software has an intuitive user interface that is easy to use with no special training required. It allows remote monitoring and control from your network or over the internet. Features include screenshot capture recording, SNMP for alarm/monitoring, markers, cross-polling and Automated Data Acquisition (DAQ) with tolerance comparison and integrated email alerts, to name a few. Up to twelve windows can be displayed at one time. The GUI is capable of saving and recalling an unlimited number of screenshots and integrates with the PSA to upload or download saved waveforms from the analyzer’s internal user memory locations. The Remote-Control Software is available for Windows.</p>
